I love this shoe first and foremost because New balance still makes their shoes in the United States. I have a very wide foot with a high arch. It's hard to find a good shoe that will hold up to my 8 to 10 hour days. This shoe is it! I know from the past that I have to go a half a size up with New balance so, you might take that into consideration. The shoe is fantastic! There is not one bad thing I can say about this shoe. These shoes are very comfy! The soles are perfect for hiking with a strong grip. The insoles are supportive but soft to walk on. The shape of the laces stay tied well without double knotting. The pull on loop is actually big enough in the back to get a normal size finger in. The only negative I have is the top loop the laces go in. While they do allow the shoes to be tied a bit higher (plus), it is a bit harder to looses them later. But not a deal breaker! Happy hiking! ... show more

This is a beautiful shoe first of all I added some photos also with a 3/4 Ortho insert the size 9 fits best but in other color same style shoes some fit too small!!! And need size 9.5!!! Can walk with these shoes immediately so gave up my sauconies which were really expensive these are awesome my favorite shoes I've ordered them in every color to walk and to wear to the gym!! ... show more

First and foremost the sneaker is beautiful and an icing on the cake, it is very comfortable and gives a lot of support. I suffer from plantar fasciiitis from hours on my feet at the hospital. My Dr. Recommended New balance sneakers. This started me on my journey but this is one of the most comforting sneakers I have ever worn. The sizing is off. Best to get a half size up from your normal seize. It is a little heavy to use it for running on a treadmill but it is made for trail running. Well, not the worst fit, but gave me small blisters to rear ankle. I like to wear with no-show socks so this may be the reason. I have worn new balance for years and have never experienced this problem. Maybe because they are trail runners and I’m used to the running shoe?
