So pretty and comfortable! I got it for my daughter, and she absolutely adores it! She is 12 years old, and is a size 8 normal. Not narrow, not wide, just in between. The quality of the shoe is amazing, which is probably why I can wear it for a long time. Arch support is alright, but still is good. It is lightweight enough. I got these shoes for nursing school and they are so comfortable. They have a nice solid cushion in the heel and it feels natural walking. I would say they are a medium weight. I like these shoes and will keep them but will replace the insole with an orthopedic one because there is virtually NO arch support in these. In the many thousands of reviews, over 100 people said the arch support was poor but the summary said that the arch support was good. If you have a high instep, as I do, the arch support in these shoes is not adequate. However, the shoes are otherwise comfortable, well made, and made of nice quality leather. My boyfriend and I went shoe shopping at a few retail stores because he didn't believe me when I told him it is extremely difficult to find shoes my size. I wear between a 5 - 5.5. We looked and to no avail. So finally we got on the Amazon website and found these and a couple pairs of sandals.
