I received them yesterday evening and took them for a test drive this morning 2.5 mph 3 incline on my treadmill - hey, I'm just getting started. I have been wearing this style of NB shoe probably for at least 10 years for tennis. Once I found the NB brand, I have never even tried on another brand! The shoes are well constructed (I've washed mine in the washer), lightweight and good support. I really didn't need a new pair when I purchased this pair, but by end of spring, I'll be retiring the old pair and wearing this new pair. I'm a loyal New Balance wearer, largely because they make wide widths which are great and roomy enough for my foot in front. They wear well and provide nice support, and I can even put my orthotics inside easily. The only issue with this latest pair is one of the shoes seems to come up higher on the outside front/side where the last lace hole is than the other, so it rubs a slight bit. It doesn't bother me, but I did notice something was not quite normal the first few times I wore them (then I got used to it, it didn't cause a blister or any such damage to my skin through my sock). ... show more

I’m usually a 7.5/8, and I bought these in 8W and they’re perfect! If you find your pinky toes ache or arches hurt in other sneakers, definitely take advantage of the wide and extra wide sizings in this style! They don’t look any bigger than my other sneakers, but are twice as comfortable - I walked around a mall nonstop for 3 hours in these and my feet didn’t hurt at all. These shoes are ugly. I almost put them back in the box without trying them on, but when I did, it was like walking in a field full of fluffy kittens! These shoes are so incredibly supportive and comfortable to wear all day. I usually get Nikes, and the sizing is the same between brands. I will be a convert to these shoes. They are simply amazing.
