Good alternative for adults with smaller feet

The children's version of New Balance shoes fit very differently than the adults do. In their adult shoes, I wear a 5.5 but in children's I could get away with wearing a 3.5. I originally ordered a 4.5 since I knew that they can run small but they were way too big, the 4 is also a little but but they
are incredibly comfortable. I can be on my feet all day in these and I don't feel like my feet get tired or sore.

New Balance has always been consistent

Outsole separated after two months of limited use.
Special Size: Little Kid (4-8 Years)
Size: 13.5 Wide Little Kid
Color: Navy/White
Initially, these shoes seemed to be constructed well and would last a while. Unfortunately, after two months the outsole is separating from the shoe. My son only wore these as school shoes. He did not wear them to play at home or on weekends. I expect more from New Balance. Bummer.....
