I've been buying New Balance shoes, specifically the 574, for decades now. This recent pair that I bought is from 2020 and they are trash. I used to be able to wear a pair of these shoes for a year with no issues. They where stylish, affordable, and durable. I just got off the phone with New Balance customer service and the customer service rep not only said they couldn't help me with getting a refund on this shoe, but that the company has changed the way that this shoe has been manufactured in order to be more of a designer, wear it for looks shoe. I wish there was some sort of statement on the product listing mentioning this before I made my purchase. It really saddens me to say this, but after being loyal customer for so long, I'm no longer going to be spending a dime for new balance shoes. If you're reading this and seeing this review, please know that the crazy high rating this product has is not based on the current product being sold in its name. I gave it a 2 star because I love the colors, price and design but I specifically ordered a 4 wide for my son and they sent just a regular 4. I even tried them on my other son whose feet are 1 size smaller and he wasn't able to fit them either. Now I have to go through the trouble of trying to send them back. Such a hassle ... show more
