Pros: -- Very lightweight -- Simple, attractive design, looks almost classy compared to the garish shoe designs you often see -- Wide widths are really wide, for big feet -- Relatively inexpensive, particularly on one of the frequent discounts Cons: -- Minimal to no arch support or padding -- No rubber or protective covering on the toe box, cloth may tear if you drag your feet Out of the box, these shoes are fine for casual walking in the grocery store or shopping mall, but you would not want to use them for serious walking, or running, without getting some good arch support insoles. These shoes are worth the price point, especially if you just want a good pair of shoes to wear at the gym or for exercise. I broke them in by walking around the city and a museum for several hours, lots of standing and idling, and they held up pretty good. They won't keep your feet warm, but they are breathable and don't overheat. I had to return the first pair, but only because I needed to go down a size; the 11.5 X-wide ended up being too big for me, so I went down to 11 X-wides, and they fit perfectly. they are comfortable and pretty nice shoes. I wouldn't use them for any serious running. what I don't like is the tongues wont stay straight in the shoe while they're on. Also, the top part, over the toes, is crumpling and wont hold its color. I've had them quite a while but only worn them a few times. do not try to use white shoe polish on these shoes as it will not come out even. all in all a mediocre shoe. ... show more

I did a ton of research on running shoes and I pulled the trigger on these and out of the box I love them got them today. I got the 13 x wide fit great plenty of room for my feet as I am flat footed. Lightweight and very supportive. I have custom inserts that I put in them. Very breathable. This is the one trust me on this and the best part is if you want them to fit loosely then you can tie them loosely and if you want them tighter then you can tie them tighter.
