I've never reviewed Amazon shoe purchases but after so many great pairs bought over the last 14 years I thought its time to kick in my 2 cents. Comfort along with price have always been my criteria for shoes and I can honestly say after 14 pair of various NB running/walking/training shoes they consistently exceed my criteria! Always an excellent size 12 fit (USA), light, durable, and good looking. Just can't beat them. Have tried others but they never match up. I always look for the Amazon best price across the various running, walking, sport styles when I'm ready for the next pair and in reality have found very little difference in the model. I've had 680V7, 520V8, 520V7, M675V3, MX608V4 and this latest Arishi V4 Running shoe which have all been great. Great fit. For Sneakers I usually 1/2 size up and these are perfect. Light weight and comfortable. Much better than the 460 v4 which are longer for same size and a bit wider.

Got them on sale for 50 bucks. They look good and fit perfect. I wouldn’t use these for running but they are a great athletic sneaker or everyday pair to run around in. Love the simplicity of this shoes. Lightweight. My only concern with this is the thickness or sturdiness of the fabric. As you can see in the photo, it’s starting to break where the toe guards end. It’s only a matter of few more use and it will be done. I bought this a year ago from the time im writing this review and I noticed there seems to be more updated version of this? They seem to have reinforced fabric around that toe area. I think thats what they are. I have cleaned this in washer many times in washer and theyre fine. Fits great. I have 10.5 4E. ... show more

    • Very different from older model Arishis

Purchased to replace my original Fresh Foam Arishis, which since the first day have been very comfortable and fairly resilient to amost everything that I've put them through over many years. The V4, I have found to be very different. Side by side my old ones and the V4s look very similar in profile, style, colors, etc. However, the V4 footbed feels very odd with some weirdly placed outer support humps, that ended up giving me major foot pain after a few days of wearing. The sizing is also a little different, the V1 I wore an 11, the V4 I need 11.5. The V1 upper, though "unstructured" securely hold my foot in a placement that a show should, where the V4 seems to be "unstructured" but more like a sock, and no matter how I set the strings it doesn't really fit securely to my foot causing slightly messy/sliding around/always adjusting footsteps. They're shoes, they protect my bare feet from the ground, but I likely will be donating them and will continue to wear my old V1s for as long as i can make them last. Best to try on before buying, if possible. ... show more
