I've been wearing 11.5 sized New Balance shoes for the past dozen or so shoes. I ordered this shoe in 11.5 and it was half a size too large. Not being sure if it was a labeling mistake or not, I ordered size 11. That fit just like my current 11.5 sized old New Balance shoes do. The shoe looks good and is similar in construction to my last pair of New Balance that lasted longer than any shoe previously purchased. We have a hard time with finding a comfortable shoe for me and my son and this wide version is like putting on a pair of your favorite shoes you have worn forever. They are so comfortable from the start. I highly recommend the fresh foam line in wide for comfort and quality.

GREAT fitting, comfortable shoes and the water proofing “Gore Tex” is great. HOWEVER, there’s a plastic/ hard material that runs along the shoe beneath the waterproofing/ outer layer, that after wearing for awhile and breaking the shoes in, pushes on your foot or toes, causing discomfort and pain. This is really unfortunate, because the shoes fit great and really are comfortable. I’m not sure if this is part of the water proofing system or what, as there’s really no need for this plastic between the layers of the shoes otherwise. I’ve tried everything I can think of to minimize the uncomfortableness of this issue, with zero luck. Purchase at your own risk! Looking online, I’m far from the only person having this issue with this specific model shoe, or with other New Balance shoes. Will definitely make me think twice before spending the $80 (or more) on New Balance shoes in the future. ... show more

Super comfy and perfect for summer – just size up! These Fresh Foam Arishi V4s are awesome for running or just walking around. They're super light, and the upper part is really thin and breathable—my feet don’t overheat at all, which is a big win in hot weather. The foam inside gives them a soft, cushy feel that makes longer runs way easier on my feet. I don’t feel that usual foot fatigue as quickly. Only downside? They run small. I’d definitely recommend going at least half a size up. Mine felt tighter than expected right out of the box. Other than that, great shoe—comfortable, light, and summer-ready. ... show more
