The insert is no good, but if you toss it and replace it with a quality insert you may enjoy these shoes. Material is very breathable. Overall shoes are comfortable. Size is true. Tread is good. Easy to clean body of shoe.

I have had the same Hoka shoes for literally the past 3 years. I refused to invest in new shoes. My Hokas have held up through the gym, runs on trails, and walks through Walmart. Eventually, I needed some new shoes. So, I went with these New Balance's. I was mostly needing some solid and comfortable running shoes for the gym/ trails and the occasional out and about errands. I LOVE THESE SHOES. These shoes are like a whiff of fresh air. Obviously, switching from a 3 year old pair to a brand new pair makes a huge difference...but regardless, these New Balances are super comfortable, super reliable, super thick, and give me looks from the pretty ladies when I walk by in the gym. Good price but I guess the saying "you get what you pay for". The sole felt too soft and spongey, not my preference. This felt like a shoe that was for lounging around but not really for sport, regular walk/running, nor gym workout.

I've been using this shoe as my daily for months now. Incredible arch support and able to breathe during the summer in North Carolina. Sizing is also perfect with plenty of room in the toe box (an issue for me when it comes to a lot of brands). So far, minus a few scuffs, the shoe has proven to be extremely durable.
