I bought what I thought was the same kind of shoe in the green but it turns out they feel different. Maybe they’re not the same style. These are comfortable but there is no kind of arch support or any support inside the shoe. I can walk a few miles in the green ones and wear them on my feet for a 12 hour shift but these I can barely walk around the mall for a few hours without my heels hurting. I’m going to buy some inserts to see if I can make them work that way. They’re stable and look pretty, there was a tiny bit of glue stuck on the outside of the left shoe that I had to scrape off but other than that they’re very nice. I just need more support and thought they were the exact same shoe as the green one. Still a great buy, fit as expected and look nice just need more support. ... show more

This is probably my 15th pair of New Balance sneakers in the past 10 years. Loved the color and they fit perfectly. Just after I got them, we went to Germany and I walked an average of 10.5miles a day in them for a week…no issues. I wear them to work quite frequently as I stand for 8-12 hours a day - - again, comfortable and supportive. Might even buy another pair before they disappear. ... show more

    • Just the Right Amount of Cushion!
These shoes are not too mushy but are cushiony with good support. There is a small break-in period that usually lasts a couple of days of wear. This break-in period is so worth it though because what you get is a shoe with a perfect ride. I love the all black and silver style but I’m not sure if it’s being discontinued because they have been almost impossible to find. NB has them on their website for more than twice the price :-(. I wear a size 9m and that’s what I ordered. They fit pretty well but are slightly small but not enough to order a 9.5m. I know from past experience that once they’re broken in, they fit like a custom made pair of shoes. ... show more

    • The most comfortable shoes I think I've ever owned
These shoes feel like slippers. Very lightweight and comfortable fit. I bought them with the intention of using them for long walks and they work perfect for that purpose. I have also ended up wearing them to work most days as they are just too comfortable to pass up when I'm grabbing shoes in the morning. **All that said, I do not use these shoes for jogging or hiking. I prefer a shoe with lots of stability when I jog and hike and these have very little of it. I have a fair amount of pronation in my steps and these are not able to account for that. And as far as hiking goes, these shoes not only have no support, but the sole has no traction whatsoever. I would recommend this shoe to anyone looking for a very comfortable walking shoe and/or casual everyday shoe. But I would not recommend these shoes for any use with a higher impact than just walking around. ... show more

So uncomfortable on the feet. Think too much arch. Loved New Balance wide style. Not know why no longer comfortable. Classic look. Not flashy either. It's a 3 because it might fit you. 1 and 2 is reserved for things wouldn't recommend to a friend. Sneakers have to fit your feet right and people have different feet (thus so many choices and different brands). ... show more
