This is a nice-looking, comfortable, very light-weight running shoe from New Balance (size 9, X-wide). I have wide feet and almost always buy NB shoes as they have the best selection of wide sizes I've found from any manufacturer. I use these for table tennis rather than running - very good grip on the rubberized TT club floor, and also on our wood laminate floors at home. Maybe I've been lucky, but I've never had a New Balance shoe I didn't like - can't say that for every brand I've tried. NB is my go-to for athletic shoes... ... show more

    • Extra Wide is not the same as 4E
Tried the Extra Wide because they don't come in the 4E that fits me perfectly. While these are slightly tight when on my feet, they stretch so much that they don't really feel too bad, so I decided to keep them. Never had a tennis shoe that stretches like this. I love it!

Lightweight. Comfortable for walking. They are on the smaller size. If you are in between sizes, I recommend going up a 1/2 size. They are also a little narrow. For comparison, I also own Asics Gel Excite 8 in the same size. These are smaller, though they fit me fairly well.     • Works for what I needed.
I like this shoe alot. It's not my favorite in the world, but they work for what I need them to. I work at Amazon, so needless to say I need to order a new pair every 2-3 months. The shoe is comfy and fits fine. They also look nice. I have a big feet that usually swell throughout the day so the soles give me enough breathing room and support where needed. But this is why New Balance is the best! I mean-I could use a little more support and possibly a new insole but I digress. The only issue I have with them is a thin insole and that the outside is made of mesh. This seems to be an issue with any shoe you buy these days. They're all marketed for thin, mesh outsole, and minimum support so they are the most lightweight as humanly possible... Cheers. ... show more

I abuse shoes, I usually buy a single pair of running shoes and use it as a daily driver for any single activity I have. So far these have hold up pretty well, extremely comfortable when going to the gym and also when just having to stand up for hours while giving classes at university. 10/10 great shoes. ... show more

I ordered a size 11.5 Extra wide and they fit me too big. I think I’m going to return and get a size 11XW (I usually wear size 12 for all my shoes so this was surprising to have these fit too big on me). The shoes feel ok. They’re light and feel nice. They’re a bit lifted at the heel so I find myself like—slipping down into the toes of the shoes throughout the day?? Which is weird... but ok. They’re ok. I liked the underarmour-charged shoes better :( I really hate having to return these to get a size smaller. Oh well. You live and you learn. ... show more
