This is a great running shoe to run with. Because they are so affordable, I bought two pairs in order to rotate them throughout the week, but I liked them so much that I purchased one additional pair to use for work. My weekly mileage is nothing crazy--about 25-30 miles per week, and after putting over 100 miles on them they are still comfortable. Once I feel that I need to replace the ones I have, I will purchase the same shoes, or at least another NB shoe. I hate spending over $100 on a pair of running shoes, so I love the fact that this brand makes great running shoes that are affordable. I no longer buy any other brand of running shoes. I read the reviews of these shoes and went ahead and took their advice. I normally wear 11.5 4E shoes in New Balance 623 and 624's. But I purchased a 12 4E with these shoes and they fit, they are not tight across my foot, but I don't think I would be able to fit into a 11.5. One thing to note is that I usually add gel heel inserts into my shoes to help with plantar fasciitis as well as support in how I walk. I still have to use them with these shoes, reason I have given the shoes 4 stars. I still feel I will have to add an insert in the future that will give better arch support, but for now, they are comfortable. ... show more

The fit is very comfortable and the support is great. But, like the other NB shoe that I purchased 2 years ago, they are a very tight fit especially when trying to fit them over the instep of my feet. I have to loosen up practically all of the laces to fit them on. So length wise, they fit well but the height of my foot makes for a tight fit from top to bottom. Still a good buy for $50 bucks and I'm still wearing the previous pair that I purchased 2 years ago. Very durable shoe. ... show more

I've run for almost 3 years in the defunct NB Evare, my first Fresh Foam shoe which offered very good cushioning. The 680v7 is similarly priced replacement. The 680 doesn't feel quite as cushiony and the heel is lower but I find it good for my 4 mile runs. Some complain about the narrow toe box but I find the toe box roomy compared to my other NB shoes. One BIG quibble - sizing. I bought my first NB shoes 10 years ago, size 10.5 D. Over the years, NB sizing has become smaller and smaller to the point where I'm ordering size 13. I take maybe size 10 in regular shoes. Extremely annoying. Size 13 is slightly loose but 12 is too tight. But it works well for me since there's room for the PROFOOT Orthotic Insoles for Plantar Fasciitis which compensate for the cushioning and heel height and also add arch support. Purchased early March 2023 (delivered 3/10). $49 (30% sale). I've worn New Balance mens' shoes at least 20 years. I owned two pairs of 1201, purchased at least 5 years ago. An overweight woman, they worked for me. 1201, apparently no-more. Losing almost half that body, size 9D no longer works, but what to replace with size-wise, men's/women's choices. Hard to take a chance. Tried this one because it was on sale. It fit well. Lightweight. BUT I didn't feel steady on my feet. With history of falls, a very real issue. I wore these for one relatively short walk and around the apartment for a couple of hours. Decided, at 81, I couldn't chance a fall. I need the stability of a walking shoe. (I know: 81? Still overweight? What, is she nuts?! LOL) ... show more

Like many reviews say, these run a little small. I found it to still fit my usual size but I get what people mean when they say they are small. Super light and they feel springy after a day in work boots.
