I like the fact that they are light weight, supports my high arch, and very comfortable. I wear an 11X Wide and this shoe fits me perfectly without a sock. The shoe is not as wide as my other shoes of the same size. Where I live the temperatures are in the 90s or triple digits in the summer months so I'm not too worried about the sock issue. I can order another color and go up to a 11.5 X Wide.

Whereas these shoes were very comfortable as far as the insole is concerned, the width was just not wide enough for my husband. I did order a 4E in width, which I double checked upon his try on, however for this particular style, it just didn't meet criteria, therefore we will unfortunately need to return them. I do not even worry about the return process, as Amazon makes it super simple and gives multiple options in reference to the return refund.

This shoe looks good. Lots of compliments; however it is uncomfortable. Not very accommodating for an orthotic. I’ve had them a month and I’m past the return date. I would return if I could. I’m back in my old shoes.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I absolutely love anything New Balance especially the running shoes. I have the 680 V1, V2, and hopefully the V3 will come out. The 520 series are lightweight, provide excellent shock support to my arches, and when it comes to long endurance jogs, these don’t hurt my feet at all! Love them completely Support: Great arch and ankle support! Fit: Fit quite well but if you change the insoles, be mindful about the thickness of the insoles as it can and will change the fitting of the shoes.

A very comfortable walking shoe. Nice Arch support and a stable base footprint. The heel of the shoe is slightly contoured. A nice feature that I've never had on other shoes. My knees and ankles feel good at the end of the day. New Balance is my new favorite Brand.
