These shoes offer excellent comfort and support, which was especially important for me as someone dealing with plantar fasciitis. My podiatrist recommended them, and they provided the relief I needed for daily wear. Even better after I swapped in my custom inserts. However, after about six months of regular use, the fabric lining behind the heel began to peel, which was disappointing. That suggests the material quality could be improved, particularly for long-term durability. Style-wise, I would have preferred an all-black design instead of the black/gray combo, but that’s a minor personal preference. Overall, they were a good value for the price. I bought these shoes as my regular work shoes were falling apart. Since these came as part of the Amazon Wardrobe (try before you buy), I ordered them and was fairly happy with the fit. I have long toes and need a wide toe box - these shoes surely fit perfect to size (I got an 8 1/2) and I have plenty of room for my toes. So for a pair of shoes to work out in the yard and for just every day use, they are just fine. Also the price was very reasonable. Now the cons - I am flat footed and I feel the shoes do not have enough cushion. In fact the shoes actually bother my heal spurs if I wear them too long. Now, if I wear them for a few hours and then take them off and put them back on, they are fine. But again, they surely needed more cushion. Also, my pair has a squeak problem and I would assume this is the poor cushioning which is rubbing on the fabric somewhere. All in all, the shoes are perfect for a cheap pair of work shoes around the house and yard. If there had been an offer to buy one, get one at half price, I would surely have bought two pair. I have a hard time finding shoes to fit and was generally surprised these gave me the room I needed. Very satisified. ... show more
