I cannot speak for the durability, comfort, cushioning, or whether they are best for jogging or walking or the gym. I have not used them but only tried them on. One thing I like about them is their appearance. I like this particular color combination. Shades of gray and blue. Nothing really florescent or with bright , loud , outlandish colors that would only make then fitting (visually) for a colorful tracksuit or tights and not with regular clothing like jeans or cargo pants or khakis or trekking pants ( unless maybe the jeans, cargo pants, khakis or trekking pants are outlandishly colored too), but very loud colors are meant for teenagers. Older people would prefer more toned down colors. Of course I know I don't speak for everyone and yet, there is a need for active wear and general use clothing for people with more mature tastes. I did buy these sneakers in size 8 wide. There wasn't an 8 and a half that I saw available on the Amazon site. It was also to make sure they fit. I am female but often buy men's sneakers as they fit better. I like the New Balance brand (of course not all their styles) and other NB styles such as the 870 is comfortable and a size 8 in men's fits just right. But a different style in the same brand can fit differently. I was not sure if a different NB style would fit be in the same size. When I tried on the sneakers it seemed they basically fit and were comfortable enough when I just walked a few feet indoors but I could not be sure that if I were to walk longer distances in them I would really feel my toes hitting the inside at the front of the sneaker. I decided to return the ones I originally ordered. I will order a different size. Probably 8 and a half but if not available, maybe size 9. The material of these sneakers seems good. The fabric is not very flimsy as with other brands and styles (even NB has some styles with fabric that is too thin and light). The sneaker has good symmetry and shape. I would recommend these but it can depend on your needs for a sneaker. I will update if necessary. NOTE: I ordered a size 8.5 . They fit and were basically comfortable merely wearing them. Yet It still seemed that I could not be sure that they would be comfortable enough when I am walking. So I sent them back and ordered a size 9 to be on the safe side. It is odd that this style seems to run small. Maybe it was that my socks were a bit thick but I do love the appearance of this style in the color I ordered, Gray. I am hoping to order another pair as soon as I know which size would be best.

The shoes themselves are excellent and I love how comfortable they are. The issue I had was the picture looked like these were black and the description was vague enough that you wouldn’t realize that these are actually a dark navy blue! I kept mine as the color wasn’t a huge deal to me but others need to be aware.

Outer space / eclipse / golden hour Color looks black in the photos but they are navy blue, grey, yellow which is a problem when you think your ordering with black in them. First impressions they are not that wide for being not wide XWIDE! Toe box pushes down on your toenails which is uncomfortable. Coming from brooks this is a drastic diff in comfort ina negative way We will see if they hold up tho . Wouldn’t purchase again

I purchased this shoe and another one from Skechers. I have a couple of pairs of Skechers so thought I'd start to retire and replace them. I laced up the Skechers first and walked around the house for a bit. Overall fit ok but felt a little sloppy- loose like my feet were floating in them. Then I put this NB on. Fit like a glove! Returned the Skechers the next day. Am ordering this shoe today in another color. :->

From the time you first lace these shoes up and put both feet on the ground you’ll notice a huge difference in the fit, comfort and stability these shoes offer. I went with these after or ing 3 pairs of Hoka in a row and I’m not going back.

I am a grocery store manager and these have been great for my day to day work. They do not show dirt and are comfortable even hours of being on my feet. They do have a little reflective shine that I do not care for but overall great shoes if you are on your feet a lot.
