    • Lightweight but strong material
This item replaces a New Balance short of similar length that I have had for over a decade. It looks very similar but is much lighter in weight. Thus far, no problems with the material. Good fit. I will update review if the product doesn't last. But for now, I'm satisfied with the product.

I’m 5’7” 225 lbs and I got an XL. These fit great. I typically wear large shorts in most brands. One of my favorites is All in Motion (Target brand - surprisingly incredible quality and affordable). I wear a large in those and a large in under armor. Depends on the style if I’m large or XL for Nike. These shorts fit right above my knee which is how I like them to fit and are great for the gym. Pockets aren’t too long or too short. The draw string is kind of pointless in my opinion, non-elastic, and hardly helps, but my fat butt doesn’t need it. I’d say size up on these for sure. I did so after reading most of the other comments and was glad I did. The one con I have is the netting on the inside. I hate that, so I cut it out with scissors which made them much better. ... show more

I’ve had about 20 pairs of the Accelerate 7” short. Been buying them since about 2015. The current model is a good all around short (running, lifting, crossfit, hiking, swimming, couch surfing) but the current offering has changed. The fit is pretty much the same, but the pockets have gotten a little shallower. Deeper pockets is what I liked over comparable UA and Nike shorts. The material has also changed. They are still 100% polyester, but the shell is now 55% recycled polyester, 45% polyester. The result is the shell feels much thinner. The old ones were like a paper towel, these feel like tissue paper. Once saturated with sweat or water they cling to you vs the older ones draping the same, wet or dry. I bought my husband a pair and he liked them so much, I bought another. The shorts are lightweight. They have pockets and a liner - two things he likes in a short. They wash well and look great. He wears a small and the small fits as expected. Recommend.

I love these shorts. They are very comfortable and extremely light weight. The pockets are shaped well enough where I haven’t had any items fall out. I ran 2 miles earlier in this Florida heat and these shorts were the only thing that stayed dry by the time I was done.

I use these for tennis. I am shorter, 5’6” and I love the 7” inseam. They come down above the knee. The material is lightweight and perfect for hot North Carolina weather. They do have an internal mesh net, which is very convenient and comfortable. Make sure your look at the sizing chart sometimes I am medium and sometimes large.
