The fit is as expected, and true to size, and true to how every other pair of New Balance have fit for me. The toe box is nice and wide, even for the normal width sizing. The shoe is super light, fits very well, and the materials breathe well and keep my feet from getting sweaty. The color is nice and not overly loud like a lot of current sneakers tend to be. There is a subtle lime-green accent on the shoe which helps break up the monotony without screaming "look at me!!" I'm not a runner, I don't do crossfit, and about the most active thing I do is walk the dog and chase my kids, and these shoes do very well with those activities. Most importantly, the shoelaces stay tied. I'd like to say that I'll buy these again when I wear out my current ones, but since shoe manufacturers tend to discontinue shoe models at an alarming pace, who knows if they'll be around later. ... show more

I never pay more than $100 for running shoes. So I'm willing to make some concessions, but still demand a good fitting shoe for running. I never tried New Balance before ( I have used most of the other big names). Well let me tell you... from now on, it's New Balance for me! These are the best running shoes I have had. Best fitting, most comfortable, good cushioning, and nice and light. And what a great price. I don't know how anyone could not be impressed by these running shoes, but obviously, that's from my perspective. If you're hedging on which under $100 running shoe to buy, I'd say definitely give these a try ... show more

I regularly wear a size 12 in women's shoes so I bought size 11 in this men's shoes. It is quite comfortable with no need to break in especially since the mouth of it is more rounded than others. It provides good support for walking and working out. However, the sole of the shoes could provide more cushion but I compensate for that by wearing a thicker socks. ... show more

This is my second pair of the 680v6, and I've been very pleased with them. I'm a low-mileage runner (20 mpw) coming back after some knee issues caused by over-pronation. While these are neutral shoes, with a pair of good OTC orthotic inserts, I've been running for several months now with no issues or pain. The cushioning is good (I run on roads) and they give a very stable ride. With the inserts, they are a touch snug, but no issue. The woven uppers fit well, and there is no slippage, so no blistering. The toe box has adequate room for me. Break-in time was minimal. At this price, they are an excellent value compared with comparable Nike models. ... show more

From the very 1st second and after my foot wanted to give me a hug for finding and buying one of the best and most comfortable shoes ever in history. I have had 3 shoes that fit perfectly like a glove in the last 40 years and I can put this on the list of the best shoes ever owned. I got these tonight and went to a store to buy something and the entire time I was out, I didn't even notice or even feel the thought of, " Oh my feet will adjust to them in about a weeks time." Nope, how about 1 second to fit just fine, how does that sound?? I don't write too many reviews and we all write reviews if we love them or if we hate them. Usually if the product you buy is just okay, it's hard to just go out and spend time to write a review as time is valuable. One more thing, I can assure you that you will love this shoe. I bought the 8.5 Wide and thought that fit okay, I gave that to another family member and they love their shoe as well. I needed to step up and get another but the actual size that I always get and that is a 9.
