I bought a pair of these in black back on January 20, 2020. I am still wearing them, and walking in them as they have held up great and are the most comfortable shoe for long term walking I have ever owned. They still look like new when I wipe them down. I just got back from Scottland in August, 2023, and this was the only pair of shoes I brought for all the walking I would do. Great for the rain, keeps the feet dry. Very comfortable, unlike some of the other running shoes I have bought, or workout shoes for the gym I have bought over the last several years which have all worn out with far less use. I wear these daily as my go to pair of shoes to wear. This is the longest I have worn a pair of shoes, as usually I am very hard on my shoes and break the soles down in 6 months, but these are still comfortable when walking several miles and hiking in these. The leather has not worn down and when cleaned up still looks great after over 3 1/2 years. I highly recommend these, you will definitely get your money's worth out of these. They were 47.99 when I bought these in January 2020, so they haven't really gone up in price much. If you wonder why its taken so long for me to review them, I was just curious if they are still sold and their price as I might buy some backup pairs for the future!

I burn through a pair of court shoes in 6 - 8 months playing pickle ball 3-4 times a week on outdoor courts. These New Balance trainers (size 8.5 EE) are sort of an experiment to see if training shoe soles will last longer. Way too early to tell! The width and toe box area are a good fit and the all leather uppers are breaking in nicely. I chose trainers this time to see if I can get some additional mileage out of them (I’m thinking the sole material is a little more durable). While they seem a little less grippy than my old ones I’m not sliding all over the place so so far so good!

I have a foot that make a duck's foot look narrow and wear a 12W. New Balance has always been a favorite shoe for me because they catered to people with wide feet. My go to shoe has always been the 608 and I have been buying them since before they were using a "v" designation, but as others have said the shoe has changed and become less and less comfortable and more and more expensive. I took a chance and just purchased the 623 v3 ..... WOW. The last time I put on a shoe this comfortable was about 35 years ago (It wasn't a New Balance). This shoe felt like putting on a slipper. I can't comment on the endurance yet, but if it lasts anything like my early 608s, and New Balance doesn't screw it up like they did the 608 it will become my new favorite and I will definitely be buying more.

Needed no break-in. In need of more arch support. I have high arches. Got Dr Scholl's Heavy Duty (from Amazon) as I'm 'big & tall'. Fit perfectly for me as I have a size 14 shoe. As an older guy, they're what I grew up with look-wise (Stan Smith Adidas). So, I like the 'retro' look. 5 stars as knew they would require augmented arch support.

My 11 year old son will be wearing AFOs for quite a few months and needed a shoe that fits. He is normally a size 6.5, maybe 7 and has quite a wide foot. He initially wanted something stylish so I got him the adidas daily and while it is a nice shoe and we sized up to 8.5 so he could fit it, the shoe wasn’t wide enough and he has a hard time putting them on. They also caused pain as they weren’t wide enough and squeezed his feet when walking. We tried these and the New Balance 608 and found those way wider at the forefoot and much better for him, and super comfortable. He sized up to 10 extra wide width.

The things I noted a were a bit off were intended to be so. I got the fit I wanted. I've worn this model as work shoes through all its permutations for thirty-odd years. I'm on and off my feet eight-plus hours a day. These and a pair of Dr. Scholl's heavy duty work insoles and I'm good.

I’ve been using new balance shoes for twenty years. They are sometimes pricey > $75 but you get what you pay for. The shoes are comfortable and durable. They last three years easy. I use them everyday for work and recreation. I have wide feet so their brand is great with wide and extra wide sizes. This pair was listed at $59 but when they shipped it was only $43. I’ve never paid less than $65 for new balance so I appreciate the discount and once again they are great.

As a Dad in my 40s, I consider myself the target customer for this shoe. I previously have had several pairs of Nike Monarchs and thought I would make the switch to New Balance. It was actually an emotional leap to change, but I’m happy I did! The fit is perfect, they are gleaming white. I can see myself BBQing for hours, cutting the lawn, finding good deals at Costco, and organizing the garage. I think they will go really well with my khakis and a golf polo shirt. Awesome shoe for you Dads out there! Highly recommended!
