These shoes have proven their durability over time, as they have remained intact and reliable. Being a modern dad, I specifically chose them for mowing the grass, and they have proven their ability to withstand grass stains. The shoes held up exceptionally well during the task. What impressed me further is that I even planted a tree while wearing them, and I experienced no issues with plantar fasciitis flare-ups. Been wearing NB for years because they come in a wide size and they are very comfortable, durable, and fit great. They show last long and I general get a year out of a pair before I have to replace them. I use the older pairs are garden shoes and doing yard work. Great shoes, great quality.

I have tried and tried to find a more "hip" shoe, but have failed. I keep coming back to the 623 EE. The width is perfect and fit is excellent for my foot. I have literally bought a dozen pairs of these over the years and am very grateful they are still available from New Balance and Amazon!
