I purchased these sneakers for my brother because his feet always hurt. He is retired now, but does maintenance jobs around his home community to supplement his income. So he is on his feet a lot, thus far he is happy with his first pair of new balance sneakers. I know he will not go back to Walmart sneakers. I always have love new balance myself, ran my first nyc marathon 25 years ago. New Balance has updated their styles since then. Hubby liked fit of New Balance and in black so like shoes vs sneakers. BUT this pair was very narrow, and too tight. We looked for exact number of last pair he got, but they are out of stock. MAYBE this pair in WIDE will get the job done.

This my pair number five of New Balance walking shoes, they all feel great and wear well, this my first pair of any shoes in more than fifty years that squeak, what can I do to stop the sound, it`s very embarrassing to walk in a quiet place.

I usually wear an X-narrow shoe (AA), but those are hard to find. I got this in narrow to check it out. It fits well and is very comfortable. It's also much cheaper than the X-narrow options available. I'll be getting this again in the future.
