This is the best walking shoe I have ever owned! I have owned the shoes a year, having walked 500 miles during that time, in good weather and bad. They look as good today as when I first wore them. They are still in excellent condition and as comfortable today as when I first wore them. I have no complaints other than that the shoe laces are too long, but the shoes are still in every good condition.

The New Balance Men's MW577 Walking Shoes are a reliable pair of shoes. I purchased them about three weeks ago, and they are holding up well. As someone who purchases a new pair of shoes roughly every six months due to cheap mesh material, these New Balances are made with nice leather that you can tell is going to last for many years. The shoes themselves break in pretty easily, which is a good thing for people who are on their feet all day. I ordered my pair in a wide, and they fit very nicely. In terms of comfort, the shoes are wonderful for letting your toes breathe, but when it comes to the rubber soles, they are already somewhat flat. I personally wish these soles were a better material, such as memory foam. But keep in mind you may need to replace the soles. Lastly, for the design, the black leather is very nice, and is an easy to clean! My only complaint with the design is the huge New Balance Logo on the back of the shoes as shown in the picture above.

While new balance has become pricier over the years (as has everything) , I've enjoyed the fit of them for the past 25+ years (going on 45 now)... I hope (and no doubt they will exceed my expectations) that they last as long as my previous pairs (average life span is 5+ years per new sneaker ...) Also, I like that these in particular are (mostly) solid black, so they go well with business casual and the gym. Only negative (so I'd rate it a 4.997) is that there is gray on the tongue and on the back of the heel... still have to keep a pair of true dress shoes because of that ;) )

Solid shoe, on time delivery and priced right. I am on my feet all day 10+ hours. Feet usually killing me by quitting time. But these, no more foot pain. Really comfortable. Look like grandpa shoes… but oh well.

My least favorite New Balance shoes ever. They squeak. Laces do not move through the grommet holes, so they are hard to tighten. The leather outer feels more like rubber than leather. Very disappointed in these.

I have long worn NB 608 training shoes for walking and general wear, but when I saw these listed for a good price on Prime Day, especially when endorsed by podiatrists, I decided to give them a try. I like that they are black and all leather, which makes them easy to clean and they can be worn with anything. I also routinely remove the stock insoles and replace them with either Physix Gear or Walk Hero insoles (both of which are available here). They are especially good for people with flat feet when the aftermarket insoles are added. I would definitely buy them again.
