Great sneaker fits my very active 14 year old son well. The laces are overally long which is a bit annoying and the 1st time it rain the soles became detached from the sneakers which is the reason its not 5 stars. The quality is very good outside the soles not staying intact. He finds them very comfortable and don't hurt his feet in anyways ... show more

I ordered these shoes for long walks that I take on a concrete trail. The three walk lengths are 3, 4, and 7 miles round trip. I normally wear a 13 regular shoe, but need 13 wide for these walks to prevent bruised toes. I have ordered and worn several pair of this shoe in the past without a problem I ordered this 13W pair to replace a walking shoe that was worn out. As soon as i put them on, they seemed tighter than the previous 13w shoes, but I just assumed that they would expand with use. The first walk that I took with them was the 7 mile walk. The shoes were uncomfortable over the whole walk, but only started to hurt halfway through the walk. I ended up with a couple of very bruised toes. I looked inside the shoes at the size. Previous shoes were marked 13 USW. These were marked 13 USM, which I guess means 13 medium. They were NOT 13W. I couldn't return the shoes, because I had already walked 7 miles in them, but cannot use them for long walks, only for everyday wear. My advice is for you is to check the actual size on the label of the shoe to make sure the vendor is not either careless or intentionally substituting the size. ... show more
