I like to slip my shoes on and my only complaint about these shoes is that the heal crushes in fairly easily. If you tie and untie your shoes each time you put them on, this is not an issue. (or keep them looser than I have them. I have had to get used to this. For long walks or jogging, they feel great. I prefer New Balance due to the width and the support. Our son picked these out and thank goodness they got here quick. We have two dogs and one of them likes to hunt and attack shoes. I think he got into one of or both of our son’s shoes and chewed on them and they were unwearable. We ordered this pair and it got here quickly so our son could have a new pair of shoes. I’ve been a loyal NB customer for 25 plus years (before they were cool). I’ve often told others of the shoe’s great comfort and style. I recently purchased a pair of “New Balance Men's 520 V8 Running Shoes” and was very surprised. Although the shoes were great looking, they were very uncomfortable. The insoles were very hard and the shoes were uncomfortable. They were not cushy and not usable. I reluctantly had to return them. This is a first for NB.
