New balance usually has good shoes that enable me to go about my daily business without pain or difficulty. The color is also good; paired with khakis and a button-down they give one the necessary veneer of professionalism for certain workplaces. New Balance makes the most comfortable sneakers I have tried on and I've tried all the major brands. NB sneakers just feel right from the first time I put them on till I discard them. I would love to give them a 5-star rating but all the NB sneakers I have owned have had durability issues -- the soles wear through after about a year's use. I use them as walking shoes, not for running so I don't think I am stressing them. Shoes came in and looked great but upon putting them on felt like I was walking on show with a bad insert. Upon taking a closer look the insole appears to be for a much smaller shoe. These sneakers fit nice. They look really good. The support only lasts for a few hours. After awhile they tend to hurt my feet a little. The sole is a little thin. But they are versatile. I bought 3 pairs of NB from Amazon. I like them all.
