I have terrible feet. Got these for my all day standing job. So far so good. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They felt great out of the box. Very roomy in the toe and nice arch support. I love the old-school clean lines. I will be getting another pair for sure.

I just got these shoes and wore the around the house and they're your standard New Balance classics shoe (which is great). I bought these 515's to replace my older 574's which were awesome, but needed to be retired. However, my gripe is with the consistency in the width sizing. As you can see in the pictures comparing these new 515's, which are 9.5 4E, to my older 574's, which are 9.5 2E, you can clearly see that the 2E is wider than the 4E. I'm going to keep them because I got them for a little more than $30, but others that are looking for the wide sizes should know what to expect. They're great shoes and the best for wide feet, but I'm docking them 2 stars for not being able to have consistent sizing. Hope this helps!

My husband has big feet. 15 4E. I bought two pair of these for him. One pair fit ok but definitely a bit smaller than his current pair of New Balance MW877's. The second pair was ridiculous. At least a half size too short and a full size too narrow. Unfortunately at that size and width there's no bumping up a half size. He's been wearing New Balance forever. They are one of the few brands that actually makes big and wide shoes and while they've never offered the most fashionable choices, the sizing has NEVER been an issue. Unfortunately this is a definite fail for New Balance and for big and wide footed folks. I hope that this isn't the start of a new sizing trend for New Balance.

PRO's Killer design. "Moon" is a sweet color, and a bit of a throwback to 2001 space odyssey for me. The red accent around the "N" is like a retro red orange... Reminds me of Massimo Vignelli's "Heller" packaging design from the 60's WAY ahead of its time. Massimo Vignelli went on to design famous logos such as American Airlines, and most notably the NYC subway map and signs still hangig today. So in other words, they look like one of the most famous brand designers in the world designed these in the 60s and put them on the shelf. They look like what a future astronaut would wear to go jogging in. Fit perfect and are super comfy. Enough room to throw in an insole or two or to leave out and still feel great. Con's They get dirty FAST,.. but is it bad? I scotch guarded them and that didnt last long at all. That said, i knew they would show dirt since they are a medium light, almost skin-tone color. I'll hand clean them a bit, but really dont mind the dirt. Kind of gives a cool worn in look like you've been somewhere. I havent thrown them in the wash yet though, but when im sure when i do they will look almost good as new, just wish the toe part wasnt suede, as it tends to get a little beat up from even normal light use. I also find that if theyre dirty kind of gives them a more subtle look, like you dont care too much about your appearance and yet somehow you have a great understated timeless retro taste in shoes.

Bought these shoes from a local place, but they were too narrow for my feet. Was able to order them here in the color I wanted in a 4E width, and they fit well. My left foot seems to be tighter in the shoe, the same was true with the D width shoes, Likely due to a flat arch on that foot, but I honestly never experienced this with other shoes, only New Balance 515's. However, with the 4E width pair, it can be compensated for with the tightness of the laces. Very satisfied! This is My personal experience, Your results may vary.

Shoes look great, but souls are low quality foam. The first time I really wore these, I was working a 12+ hour day at a car show. It was 85 F out and I was walking on pavement and cobblestone. Throughout the day, I had to find an excuse to get in the shade because the sneakers transferred the heat through the shoe. They got so hot I had to remove them on multiple occasions. I've never had this experience with footwear before. On top of that, I ended up with a painful blister. The two stars are for the looks of the shoes, and the decent construction. Will be my last pair of new balance ever.

This NB 515 V1 sneaker fit perfect!! They are well cushioned and soft and comfortable and the tongue is not pushing down on the top of my foot. I was very worried about this issue as I had bought a pair of NB 574 V2 just recently and it appears that there was a design flaw where the tongue was very thin and curves down on the sides and that part just presses against the top of my feet and hurts my foot after just a few minutes of wearing them. Everyone who bought the very same 574 V2 shoe had complained about that too in their review. This one here the tongue is pretty thick and well cushioned and does not push down on top of my feet. I highly recommend these and I, myself would buy some more later in a different color.
