    • Terrible version of a great line

I have owned around ten pairs of 410V5 and 410v6- The 5s were wonderful, the 6s were a little less valued but still great. These 7th iterations are garbage. The other pairs could be used as hiking shoes, whereas these ones hard go up your ankle bottom. I mean you could wear really low cut socks with these and still see the damn socks. I don't wear such low socks, but I want to emphasize how shallow the heel of these shoes are. Avoid this iteration and try to find 410v6 if possible. Also I always wore a 11.5 4E on the other versions.....its tight in this crap version. Order .5 size up if you want these crap shoes. ... show more

I have been wearing New Balance Sneakers for a long time now and I have been wearing the 410 series for the past few years. It's great to know that even with each years update that I can purchase them on Amazon and know they will fit just right. I wore them yesterday and they are so very comfortable. Everything about this shoe is top notch. This is by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever put on my feet. I walk all day on concrete and usually my feet hurt after my shift. Every since I got these, I have been able to come home without my feet aching. As the title says I would definitely buy these again. I never bought shoes online because I was always afraid that they wouldn't fit right and I would have to go through the whole process of returning them and I didn't want to deal with that hassle. With that being said I took a chance and decided to purchase them and take a chance. I'm glad that I did because not only did it save me time from having to go to the store but they arrived within two days and they actually fit. When I was browsing online I wasn't particularly looking for this brand of shoe but I was looking for something that looked good and would be light weight and these NB shoes have met both of my expectations they are very comfortable and allows my feet to breathe. I haven't had them long enough to know how well they'll hold up but I'm pretty sure they'll last a good while. ... show more

Except when extreme weather or conditions prevent, I walk local sidewalks and pathways 3 to 4 miles daily. I use these in rotation with two other pairs of NB shoes. Only one minor complaint, readily remedied: original laces provided with new shoes are too short for easy double-bow tying.
