I'm between a 10 1/2 to 11 but 4E. Also my foot is thick. I normally start off trying 11 1/2 on for size and moving up just to get a shoe wide enough. With these 11 1/2 were too small. But not in length or width. It was the height where my toes are. Mainly my big toe was sore from hitting the top of the toe box. So I went up to a 12 and they fit perfectly. They fit so well I bought a pair of NB Nitrel V5 shoes. My only complaints are first that she shoe laces are too short. It could be more my foot being thick but I barely have enough to tie a knot. Secondly the tongue wants to move towards the outside of the shoe. Again, it could just be the shape of my foot and not the shoe but the Nitrel V5 shoes don't do this. To solve the problem I used a couple small tie wraps. One to keep the knot from untying (since the loops aren't long enough to tie a second knot) and one to hold the tongue from rotating. Being black it's all but impossible to see. The shoes fit so well I don't mind the small changes I had to make. When I get around to it I'll buy longer shoelaces. I'm not a guy who spends a lot on shoes but the next time I need shoes I will try the US made NB line of sneakers. Sorry Sketchers, you've been replaced.

For years, I either had to buy shoes a half size up or deal with blisters on my little toe. Every time my family went to Disney or any other trip with lots of walking, I'd end up having to wrap my toes in moleskin to prevent blisters. On a whim, I bought these before my trip to NYC and they are wonderful. I walked an average of 8 miles per day and didn't have a single blister, hot-spot, or any real soreness. Though I ordered the gray and green, I ended up buying a second pair in blue and orange.

Comfortable replacements for my New Balance 481 shoes. The bottom tread is an interesting design. Usually the tread covers the entire bottom of the shoe. This model has these cutouts that exposes the softer part of the shoe. Not a big deal. By the time the tread wear down to that soft material, then it would be time to buy a new shoe. One bad thing about the tread design is that more stuff gets stuck to it than my other shoes. In my car, my left shoe slighty snags on the raised rubber grips of the clutch pedal. It seems New Balance is using these thin shoe laces now like my previous pair. I miss the old thick ones. They felt more high quality and didn't dig into your skin when doing laces on cold dry days.

These have fit well so far and are comfortable. I had to get these instead of the 510 shoe as they were not available in my size needs. These are very similar and I hope they are as good long term as the 510 shoes.

I searched high and low trying to find an affordable sneaker for my son's feet. Not only are his feet very wide, but he also has a high arch/instep, so a lot of shoes that would fit him length-wise don't fit him width-wise OR height-wise. These were a godsend. They fit him perfectly, he wears them everyday, and he says they're incredibly comfortable.
