These, having worn New Balance for many years, are among my favorite shoes. Some of their recent offerings, especially in Fresh Foam, leave a lot to be desired. Wear-resistance and longevity, for example. These are tough, durable, water resistant, and boast a several week break-in period until they feel like well-worn, yet supportive kicks. They're almost as comfortable as a walking shoe, with added protection and support, and protect against toe jams, stubs, and trip injuries--something their mesh offerings and "natural" varieties leave to be desired. Unless, of course, you desire more toe-stubbing action. They are a little roomy in the toe box, but my foot doesn't move around. They can also be tightened without too much pressure toward the front of the foot, protecting the arch. Good purchase, glad to have picked these up.

Looks great and fit is as advertised. Arrived very quickly had Quality of material was really good. Be aware their sizing does run small, I wear a size 13 and would have ordered a 14 to be more comfortable

I have worn these shoes approximately four times. I bought extra wide. Fits well. Plenty room for toes. Exactly what was ordered. The interior cushioning is minimal. I don't think that these are good "running" shoes. I have only walked in them. To improve comfort, inserts with arch support were added. Making them much more user-friendly. The soles are rugged, yet they are easy to walk in. The uppers are made of synthetic material which make the shoes really light in weight. The build seems quite sturdy. Will revisit this issue at a later date, when I've put some miles on it. Conclusion: good fitting, comfortable, lightweight, good looking pair of shoes. PS: The seller shipped the item the following day! Received it promptly.

Purchased since I never had a true running trail shoe before but I'm very happy with the outcome. I've taken these on about 15 hikes so far all involving water to some degree and I've still seen no sign or wear and tear. Comfortable and durable is all I need in this sort of shoe. I would buy again without a doubt.

I have been wearing this pair of New Balance shoes for a week now. They are very comfortable. These are the extra wide size and they fit me very well. I picked this pair of NB 410 Trail Running Shoe because a) NB sizes fit my feet, b) they last longer than other brands, and c) on sale for Prime Days. My previous pair of sneakers were also NB, but a different trail running shoe. They lasted 6+ months of everyday wear, including walking the dog 2+ miles each day. The soles of those shoes have worn down.

The shoes themselves are comfortable and well built and have lasted longer than cheaper brands, as they should. The laces were designed with zero thought for functionality and 100% for aesthetics. There is no padding or extra external grip to keep them tied. Pulling them tight is akin to pulling a staw from the rapper--the lace keeps sliding through the loop and never compresses and holds tight. They are also too short unless you remove them from the top eyelet, so you can't really double knot them. The laces are loose within hours of tying them as tight as possible. As someone who leaves their shoes tied and slips them on, I'm lucky to get two days between tying each shoe. I won't buy any shoes with similar laces after this. After 7 months, wearing 2-3 times a week, the tops around the ankles have holes on every side. To be clear, I walk to work in these and sit at a desk. Most of that time I was wearing shorts, so it's not like my pant cuffs were rubbing them. The material is quite thin. The construction and ability to hold my foot steady hasn't worn down yet though.

My 13 year old son wears a men’s 9.5 and has somewhat wide feet (not wide enough to wear a wide though). He needed shoes with good support to run in, and we bought a couple of other brands that were either too narrow or gave little support. These were perfect and the moment he put them on he loved them! Bo us points: They look great and are super durable!
