    • Greasy, shiny, white, thick. No "Dry Touch" mentioned on tube or packaging.

So I notice the listing says this is for Sheer Zinc "Dry Touch", but nowhere in the packaging or product does it say "Dry Touch". Even in the photos for the product, none of them show "Dry Touch" on them for the face sunblock, and only one image for the body sunscreen 3 pack shows a different tube that says it. I know Neutrogena does have other sunscreens that say "Dry Touch" on them that may well be, but most of those come in blue tubes/packaging, not yellow, and be careful because some are not mineral. This one says it contains no oils, yet it sits on your face very greasy and shiny for HOURS. When first applying it feels thick and you really have to work to appear it around your face, it's not thin or light at all. Hours later I could touch my face, and my hand and fingers would come away shiny and oily. I thought this was supposed to be more of a light, matte sunscreen, but it's definitely neither. Giving it a 3 because I'm sure it will still protect from the sun, which is it's main purpose. But this cannot be my daily sunscreen. ... show more

I have been using this product for years! I am a 58 years young nurse and a licensed esthetician and let me tell you buying over priced products for sunscreen is not necessary. This does go on white but absorbs quickly, I apply after my morning skin care routine, go do other things for a few minutes and then put on my make up if I am wearing any that day. Neutrogena’s Zinc Oxide Mineral Face Sunscreen Lotion with SPF 50 is oil-free, non-comedogenic & non-greasy. This 2 ounce tube was worth the $9.89 I paid for it! I give it a good shake & apply to my face which has been cleansed with vitamin C serum. This is not heavy. It’s a little running so be careful getting it out of the tube. A little goes a long way!! This doesn’t leave a white cast look on me. I’m able to apply my face primer & powder & one would never know I have sunscreen on. It’s definitely sheer & definitely dry touch. It absorbs quickly after a little bit of rubbing, not as much as other non zinc oxide mineral sunscreens I’ve used. The 50 SPF is an added bonus to this fabulous sunscreen. I’ve purchased Banana Boat’s powered sunscreen that I use to reapply as I don’t like to put sunscreen over my makeup especially if it’s a workday. If I’m outside at home I would reapply as I don’t usually wear makeup at home. I’m so happy I did my research on zinc oxide sunscreens. These are without all the harmful chemicals.
