I upped my rating to 4 stars. The tape has lasted so far with no signs of coming off the steps. I just applied these so I can't attest to it's longevity. I planned to cut the tape into 45" strips to cover my spa steps. There are 4 steps each consisting of 2 2X6s. 8 strips 45" in length is 30ft. So when I got to the last strip it was 4.5" short. Lucky I bought 2 rolls in case I had a problem. The product itself was easy to apply though it doesn't seem to like surfaces that are at an angle like the hand rail. There are no instructions like at what temps it should be applied or should a painted surface be sanded. I did buy an anti-slip paint additive in case these don't stick.

The adhesive may hold up to a season of outdoor use, but I used a staple gun for some extra staying power. I cut the tape into sections and placed them horizontally climbing up the plywood ramp going up and into y Mom's outdoor shed. It looks good with the yellow/black caution tape with sandpaper like grip on the surface and adhesive backing. But the ramp isn't new and it's in the shade most of the day and is slippery when damp, which is most the time. As I said I added several staples from a staple gun to help ensure that the tape doesn't give way when the adhesive no longer adheres to the weathered wood surface.

Used at our wooded area camp on a treated lumber deck that gets super slippery after rain. It's been there for two months now still working great, preventing falls. Also Used on my pole spear for wet grip underwater. Works great but sheds abrasive granules with each use.

First of all, I'm not sure why Amazon has a feature for review of "Warmth"...does tape ever get warm on its own? LOL Now, as far as this no-slip/anti-slip/non-slip tape, I have been very happy with it so far. We have a ramp to our front door that is many years old, and therefore the wood is very slippery as soon as it gets wet or any sort of frost builds up on it. I wanted to get something to help protect from slipping and this product has made me happy. I first lightly sanded the wood (because it is so old and has built-up grime on it) to give the tape something better to stick to, wiped it with a wet cloth, let it dry, and then put down the strips that I cut. Piece of cake, no hassle install. Doing every other board like I did makes sure that a person will always have at least one foot on the grippy tape. Since I just put this down, I have no idea of long-term adhesion, so I will try to remember to report back in a few months, especially once the cold season is over with. I will also report back on how well it holds up to sun and other weather elements.

Used this tape to put on my crash bar on my motorcycle so my feet wouldn’t slip off as easily on a long ride. Overall it worked fantastic! It was easy enough to cut it to the length/width I needed, the adhesive stuck pretty well, and it was very grippy! My feet didn’t slip off at all the whole ride and ultimately made the trip a lot more comfortable for me considering I couldn’t keep my feet on the bar very well because the bar was so slick without the tape. By the end of the ~700 mile trip the tape was pretty weathered and started to peel up/tear on some places but for the abuse of a long ride (with some light rain also) plus moving around and shifting my feet around on it for several hours, not bad. I still have plenty left over for the future and would definitely recommend this product!

Easy to use, just cut the length you need, peel off the backing and lay it down. Use gloves though because it is rough on the hands, like 50 grade sandpaper. My 89 year old mother loves it. Finally she doesn't slip in the rain going down the ramp. We removed all the rust with a primer and then repainted the ramp before applying the anti-slip tape. We laid it down with a space 4 inches between each layer of the 4 inches wide tape. Looks great. We bought 6 rolls and still lacked a little more to finish so we ordered 6 more rolls to finish the other steps on the back patio too. We installed it at night and with 100 degree weather during the day it stuck well.
