It does stain very easily but as soon as the stain got there I immediately cleaned it and then washed it. So if it's been sitting then I'm not sure. My first impression is that the fabric is very thin and sheer, and will definitely not protect the blanket/duvet from spills or stains. I bought a black XL Twin cover for my Full sized grey weighted blanket. The fabric is still loose even tho I sized down, so if you're looking for a snug fit DEFINITELY size down one or even two sizes. If you're buying a white cover for a darker/colorful blanket you will be able to see through it. But when it comes to putting the blanket in the cover that was fairly easy (duvet cover wise, they're never easy to put on lol) the fabric is soft, sort of wrinkly but not badly. Its mostly just baggy from the oversizing. Also slightly disappointing that it only came with one pillowcase but it's fine because I already had my own, but most beds have two pillows so I feel they should be giving you another one. I have been looking for a very warm duvet (comforter) that would hold its fluffiness and keep the feathers from migrating from their pockets. These pinch pleats do the job! Although we are in California, we leave our windows open and turn the heat off in the night during the winter. The temperature can drop to from the low 40s to mid 30s. This duvet is toasty without being too hot--you feel enveloped in luxury. It is important to do several things upon receiving it. Pop it in the fluff setting in your dryer for about 20 minutes, shake it several times, top to bottom and side to side. Then let it settle for a day or so before covering it with a Duvet Cover Set. This way you'll get max plumpness. I got a Nestl cover which was great and removes a need to lauder the duvet itself except maybe once a year. The cover has ties to go around the loops provided on your duvet. Finally, each morning give your duvet a quick shake from the bottom and on each side and you are right back to the perfect fluff. This quilt comes vacuum packed to about the size of two loaves of bread. After opening, we fluffed it for a few minutes then put in the dryer for about an hour on low heat (as recommended to fluff and remove any oder. It was fluffed up about 2-3ā€ thick. The first night we used it, we had to turn the heat down because this quilt is super warm. Weā€™ll probably buy a thinner one for summer but for winter, and especially a winter during a power outage, this thing will certainly keep us toasty. ... show more

Iā€™ve had it for a month now and I just washed it for the first time. One of the ties on the inside came undone, but all the others are fine. Iā€™m not a fan of the buttons to close it. Some times they come open, but I fold my sheet over it so it doesnā€™t bother me. Over all, good stuff for the price

Only negative is that it is always very static and when it comes out of the dryer and I am not sure if thatā€™s because of the cover or the dryer.
