I'm 5'8" and slim, but curvy below the belt. I often struggle with shrinkage, though I air dry everything. I got these in 6 Long. They were slightly too long, which I loved and fit great everywhere. Slimming, stretchy, decent sized front pockets, though back pockets are fake. I've bought two and they shrank about 3 inches, just air drying. They still fit well - I'm glad I didn't get the regular length. I need to wear black for work so I've gotten 2 black pair and a white pair to wear casually for warmer weather. I returned the white because the pockets are lined with white fabric which shows through. My nude colored underwear was not visible but the pockets just looked bad, even the fake back pocket lining was visible. Don't bother with these in white! Black is great though. ... show more

I needed some nice black slacks for my convention jobs and these did the trick. The material is soft and thick and not cheap feeling. My only issue is that there is a little extra fabric in the front lower belly part and also behind the knee. I got the smallest size so getting a smaller and more form fitting size wasn’t an option. But I am glad they aren’t tight because I can’t be in uncomfortable clothes for long. They work for what I needed them for and I’m happy with my purchase. ... show more

I am a size 14 - 5' tall, shaped like an apple ;o). Based on the reviews I ordered a size 12. I could wear them, and the fit was perfect everywhere except my tummy. However, I could get them on and it had a lot of support in that area. They were still comfortable enough for an all day wear, but snug in the middle. I love these pants, but will have to reorder. I ordered 10L in black last year and they were too big. I returned them and ordered 8L ... they fit very nicely...not tight at all and plenty long even after many washings. They have held their shape and have not faded any. I was so happy to finally see other colors offered in long length. I ordered the blue and khaki in 8L....they are 2" shorter in length and stride and 2" smaller in waist and hips than the black ones. I ordered a blue 10L and they are also too tight and too short!! I'm going to try one more time ordering a size 12L hoping they will fit!!! You can dress them up or dress them down...the fabric is very nice and they are made very well...just can't understand why the sizing is so off.....hoping I will eventually get the correct size. ... show more
