The English is a tad messy in some parts, but decent enough to understand without issue. The price point was great for the product. Came with all the tools I needed though I found it hard to do with the finger protectors on. Pricked myself a couple of times when I took them off. It’s definitely harder than it looks and will take some practice but this is a great starter kit to see if you’re interested in gaining skill at needle felting. I did not do well but I think there’s enough yarn I could do two. Instructions are a little hard to understand but I figured it out eventually

I've never done felting before but it's something I've always wanted to learn. This kit appears to be a good way to do that without getting invested in a lot of materials that I may or may not use again. It comes with everything you need to create this very cute little black and white dog: wool, needles, finger/table protection, and instructions. The instructions seem ok; the English is a little awkward but I didn't have any trouble figuring out what they meant in each instruction and if you do get stuck, they have video help available by QR code. Each part of the construction has pictures so you know how it should look as you go along. Most importantly, there is a 1:1 scale picture of the finished dog that they want you to refer to throughout work on the project so that you can make sure it comes out the proper size and that you don't run out of materials. There's also an instruction section on care and use of the needles so you don't inadvertently break them during use. This is going to be a very fun project to do as the evenings get longer. It may take some time to complete, but I don't think this will be all that difficult to do. UPDATE: I made this guy! And it turned out super cute! The MOST important instruction on the entire page is the size ratio picture and the shape of the body piece—if you make your dog base to match this size and shape, everything else will fall into place. For the body, I started out with about half of the black wool, and after poking it down, it was just the right size and compacted to the right density. There is almost enough wool here to make two of these—I may get a little more black and make my dog a buddy.

This was going to be a gift. While I appreciate less wasteful plastic, it looks like this one was opened and returned. Maybe this is just how it ships, but the lack luster presentation has me reconsidering this gift.

This is a great value for the money and it is very giftable, especially for the crafter in your life! Let me say this, I love drawing, painting and sculpting. This isn't really like any of those things and while they may say that this is for the beginner, I personally cannot agree. I am not very good at this craft. : ) I will try again and maybe again after that, but so far...this is not my strong place! lol It is enjoyable and is a low stress to spend some time.

I think I got an amazing shoulder workout today with all this needle felting I did. But the tiger? Oh, he came out great! I added a couple things to my own liking, I didn’t make him as angry as the listing, but I had a lot of fun with it! The kit is absolutely fantastic, it comes with 4 needles, explaining what each one is for, a foam board, the little finger gloves (which are fairly thick and only got hurt a few times) the printed instructions came with pictures and translated texts, so it was a bit confusing. I know there is a video, so I’m sure that would be even better to watch. The wool it came with seems to be of great quality and perfect vibrancy! There’s extra wool to make a second one too, which will be in the future. There’s 2 sets of eyes, which they are smaller than I imagined, but it’s alright, he’ll just have little beady eyes! If you’re looking to try needle felting and want a cute little animal, I would recommend this beginner kit.

I really enjoyed making this felt chicken. This is the first time I've ever done this and it was quite the big learning curve for me in the beginning but after a while, it started to form a ball and I was able to build off that. It actually comes with quite a bit of material, but all of it is sectioned off for just the right amount to do the kit to match the picture. I did end up watching a few youtube tutorials just to make sure I was doing it right as the pictures and instructions just weren't enough for me, but overall, very fun.
