This isn't a bad little necklace.It's a little lightweight for men.I think the chain is anyway, but I guess if you were only using it for going out, or if you're not a very active person.You should be okay with it.It's an onyx square piece of onyx in a pendant.I don't think it's worth the money after I get closer.Look to it.But there again, you know, i'm not a jeweler, but I would.I'm going to have to buy a different necklace for my son.This is way too lightweight for him.It'll never last ... show more

    • Faux Onyx Looks and Feels Like Hard Plastic
From the picture, I was hopeful but skeptical. The chain looked nice, and the design was appealing. I figured it wouldn't look quite like a gemstone, but I was disappointed when I opened the package and took a closer look. The faux onyx looks like colored, hard plastic and the feel is very similar. There is good imitation and then there is what looks like it belongs in play jewelry. This faux onyx makes me think of the latter. On the plus side, the chain seems sturdy and might work for other jewelry in my collection, though it's still not quality. So it! I ordered for my brother as he is starting to use jewelry but not too big or too flashy! He loved this necklace and the best part is that it’s a two piece jewelry so if he only wants robust the chain the charm can be removed.

The chain is well made and quite shiny. The pendant is a flat surfaced "stone", black and highly glossy. It's a really nice size and is lightweight enough to wear every day.
