Works very well!
Style: Flashlight
I was a bit skeptical in spite of reviews, but with Amazon return policy I didn’t feel I was taking a risk. Feels very solidly built and fit well in my hand. Put a full charge on it and gave it a test. I don’t quite understand the need for both an on/off button (nicely backlit when powered on) as well as an off position on the rotating mode ring. First position is a solid standard “white” light only mode, which has a noticeable bluish hue. Then there are three positions which adds a second different colored flashing light source, stepping up the flash rate. Mind you, this was just a test in a dark room. The solid white light was a decent blue-hued white light sufficient to see 25-30 feet. The blue tinge had an effect of muting the brightness so items illuminated in the direct beam did not reflect back to severely degrade my eyes’ adjustment to night vision. Items wider that fell in the indirect light were obviously slightly less illuminated but identifiable. The unexpected magic happened when the second flashing light source was added - anything within the direct beam that was any shade of red, even pink, began to stand out from everything else and “flashed” red as if they were all little flashing red traffic lights, or red reflectors! Amazing! So I don’t know but I suspect the two light colors used were specifically chosen to cause this effect; that is the slightly subdued bluish white light does not overpower the secondary light’s effect on red and/or enhances the effect of the second color blinking light. Based on other reviews and other sample videos I saw on the internet, I can’t wait to put it to use hunting asap. Well done NEBO!!! ... show more

Best tracking light by far!
Style: Flashlight
This is the best blood tracking light I have ever used by far. Real happy with it.

Great for this color blind old man
Style: Flashlight
Have now used it a couple times. Works extremely well in the dark, making blood "flash" so it is easy to see. Not as good during daylight, but still easier to see drops than without the light.

Might be an important camp tool
Style: Flashlight
This is an interesting addition to camp. It has been decades since I’ve not been able to find my deer by natural means, but having this back at camp makes sense. Sometimes, we help another hunter with a less critically hit deer that may go more than a dozen yards. If this happens, I’m sure this will help. I’ve tried it on overcast days, dusk and at night and it does seem to highlight drops. Time will tell. ... show more

Actually Works
Style: Flashlight
Most of the magical "blood tracking lights" out there are just gimmicks. I expected this to be too, but it utilizes a method I have used in the past using separate white and red lights. This combines that into one light and actually works. Red will strobe and make identifying easy. HOWEVER, blood is not the only thing that is red. Anything with red in it will strobe too. So, in my area with a lot of fallen brown leaves, they will strobe too since there is red in that brown and make it harder to pick out blood. In areas with less of that noise, it really picks out the blood. ... show more

Works Well
Style: Flashlight
It works. The strobe effect was unexpected but once my eyes got used to it I was amazed how well it highlighted the blood. It didn't work as well on wet leaves. I guess the blood got diluted and everything was shiny in the strobe. On dry leaves at night it is fantastic. Take note: you must remove the battery for 10 seconds to get it out of demo mode on initial use. It works much better after that! ... show more
