This blanket scarf is wonderful. The material feels and looks expensive and is super soft. It is large enough to use as a shawl, a lap blanket at the office and to double wrap around the neck with the ends tucked into a zipped coat when going out of doors. It is very light in weight yet super warm. I wore it in 14 degree weather and was very glad I have it. I recommend this blanket scarf and will buy other colors and patterns.

Amazing price for this beautiful blanket scarf. Super-soft, thin and warm. I bought this to have on the plane for a recent trip and am so happy with it that I plan to buy another. It is large enough to use as a throw blanket, but I was able to fold and roll it to wear on and off the plane. The only negative is that it shed quite a bit of fuzz, so I would recommend awash first if this would bother you.

I bought this for a 2 weeks trip to Ireland. It was perfect. Its soft and warm and layers nicely. It was much softer than I expected, but I loved it. My only negative comment would be that it snags and leaves fluff lint on your clothes. This didn't super matter to me, for the price I got a warm wrap that I could layer under a rain coat and I didn't really care about taking great care of it, I am rough on stuff. I wouldn't buy this as a fancy thing but for the price, the functionality is great. the size was great too. I am plus size and being able to fold it, wrap it, even use it as a blanket on the plane was great.

I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. The scarf is bigger than the dimensions listed, which is a good thing because that makes it a true blanket scarf. If you read it thoroughly, the product description lists three different dimensions, all of which are incorrect. The product is 52 inches x 52 inches. The material is thin so when you use it as a regular scarf it isn't bulky. It's definitely big enough for women of all sizes to wear as a belted poncho. The colors are beautiful and vibrant as pictured. GREAT price. I plan to purchase more colors. Dry clean.

Update: was 4 stars now 3. My eyes can't take it. I wear it for couple hours and I look like I've been crying. It's fall and I've been seeing a lot of images of cute outfits with big, massive, plaid scarfs. I did look around the stores but didn't find “red” I was looking for. I read lot of the 500 reviews on this one. Most negative ones are about color not matching and loose treads. I feel the “red” is pretty true to picture and yes the threads are loose. It's $13! This is like a blanket - seriously! 54 inches by 60. It's also really truly SOFT. Warm too. I'm in Wisconsin and I already know I'm going to wear this a lot. My biggest issue is it does irritate my eyes. Yes my eyes are sensitive, I'm not sure if little hairs are coming off of it or what. I'm giving it 4 stars for now. I did hand wash it in sink. I'm hoping this helps if it does I'll update my post to 5 stars. Had no problems washing and hanging it up to dry. Update Dec: this some how got into the wash and the dryer. Still looks fine. I'm really surprised but happy. I've been using it in car as trow.

I LOVE this scarf! So much so that I ended up giving the one I received as a Christmas gift away to my cousin and buying myself another one. The colors are great, and it is so cozy! It's big enough that you really can use it as a blanket. Would be great for traveling. It is very soft, and did not have any sort of smell. The hem is unfinished, so you will have to be careful with washing this so it does not all unravel.

Cons: -Color: The colors on the item said black red and green and the picture made it look like it was mostly red and green, perfect for Christmas pictures! The actual scarf was navy with a little red and green mixed in. --Material: Very thin, would make a nice scarf, but not a nice shawl. Not very big, not sure the size of a "blanket scarf" but I can't imagine this is it. Material seemed cheap like it will tear or come apart easily. -Thickness: Most definitely not thick enough to keep warm as it says. It is soft and light weight, but when I read "Scarf Blanket Wrap Warm Tartan Checked Shawl" I expected it to be a thicker warm scarf that could be used as a shawl. Pros: Soft

Love the color of the shawl. Its a quality fabric, not too heavy and not thin. I fold it in a triangle and wear it loose around my neck and it drapes down my side nicely. Ill be buying another one for sure.
