This blanket scarf is wonderful. The material feels and looks expensive and is super soft. It is large enough to use as a shawl, a lap blanket at the office and to double wrap around the neck with the ends tucked into a zipped coat when going out of doors. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. The scarf is bigger than the dimensions listed, which is a good thing because that makes it a true blanket scarf. If you read it thoroughly, the product description lists three different dimensions, all of which are incorrect. The product is 52 inches x 52 inches. The material is thin so when you use it as a regular scarf it isn't bulky. It's definitely big enough for women of all sizes to wear as a belted poncho. The colors are beautiful and vibrant as pictured. GREAT price. I plan to purchase more colors. Dry clean.

The perfect shawl to throw over and keep toasty! I love the pattern and it doesn't have that weird overly-fuzzy feeling some loose fabrics can get. Not too light and not too heavy, it's the perfect add-on to complement a look while being so multi-functional at the same time! Only downside as mentioned is I could imagine seeing it fray if pulled too hard or if it snags on something, but you'd have to really apply a lot of force to really damage it so be careful just like any garment!

Amazing price for this beautiful blanket scarf. Super-soft, thin and warm. I bought this to have on the plane for a recent trip and am so happy with it that I plan to buy another. It is large enough to use as a throw blanket, but I was able to fold and roll it to wear on and off the plane. The only negative is that it shed quite a bit of fuzz, so I would recommend awash first if this would bother you.

Update: was 4 stars now 3. My eyes can't take it. I wear it for couple hours and I look like I've been crying. It's fall and I've been seeing a lot of images of cute outfits with big, massive, plaid scarfs. I did look around the stores but didn't find “red” I was looking for. I read lot of the 500 reviews on this one. Most negative ones are about color not matching and loose treads. I feel the “red” is pretty true to picture and yes the threads are loose. It's $13! This is like a blanket - seriously! 54 inches by 60. It's also really truly SOFT. Warm too. I'm in Wisconsin and I already know I'm going to wear this a lot. My biggest issue is it does irritate my eyes. Yes my eyes are sensitive, I'm not sure if little hairs are coming off of it or what. I'm giving it 4 stars for now. I did hand wash it in sink. I'm hoping this helps if it does I'll update my post to 5 stars. Had no problems washing and hanging it up to dry. Update Dec: this some how got into the wash and the dryer. Still looks fine. I'm really surprised but happy. I've been using it in car as trow.

Cons: -Color: The colors on the item said black red and green and the picture made it look like it was mostly red and green, perfect for Christmas pictures! The actual scarf was navy with a little red and green mixed in. --Material: Very thin, would make a nice scarf, but not a nice shawl. Not very big, not sure the size of a "blanket scarf" but I can't imagine this is it. Material seemed cheap like it will tear or come apart easily. -Thickness: Most definitely not thick enough to keep warm as it says. It is soft and light weight, but when I read "Scarf Blanket Wrap Warm Tartan Checked Shawl" I expected it to be a thicker warm scarf that could be used as a shawl. Pros: Soft

I love this scarf! It is very big, a lot of fabric, so it takes some practice wrapping it so it's not all up in your face, but once you figure it out, it looks great! It's nice and soft, too! I word of warning, though: it is VERY warm! I bought one for myself (in Maine) and one for my sister (in Mississippi). I wore mine all through the winter and it was amazing, but she said it was too hot, even in the middle of winter, in Mississippi for her to wear it!
