I was really worried that this dress would be thin and see thru like some of the 1 & 2 star reviews, but I was shocked to see it's beautiful! I am a XXL in everything I wear and it fits perfectly! It's the right length too. Just above my knee. The material is soft and thickish but not too much. I have a theory. The manufacturers of this dress and we'll, everything that ships from China, use different patterns and cloth. They use what they have and some people get the thin cloth and others get the thicker material. Mine is not sewn with a choke around the collar like other dresses I saw in the reviews. I found this dress to be thicker material than expected but that’s ok. It’s not too thick that it’s not wearable in the Midwest summer weather. I would compare it to a heavyweight T-shirt. I have been on a dress kick for a while and this one will be great to wear into the late fall with leggings and a long cardigan. I love the sleeves and the pockets. I got several compliments from total strangers when I wore this dress on vacation recently in the southeast. I believe I bought a medium but I probably could have gotten away with a small. 5’3”, 155 pounds large fits just right. Material is thick enough so you can’t see through it. Four stars is because the material looks a little on the inexpensive side.
