The leather laces have no give making it hard to actually get foot in. My 17 month old wears is just now fitting into a toddler size 5 shoe (most are still a bit big on her). I bought these in a size 5 and they are hard to get on her feet because even when unzipped they have no give to them allowing the foot to slip in easier. I literally have to brace her whole leg and shove it into the shoe and she gets mad. Maybe size up if you’re at the tail end of a size. Other than that they are fine so far.
