I bought my first pair at a high end outlet brick and mortar store in another State while visiting my G-daughter. We went shopping together. My first pair was black. These are a pretty, soft neutral brown and are so comfortable, fitting exactly as expected, and though a bit more pricey at Amazon.com than I'd have liked, I knew what I was getting so decided to buy them anyway. They were the color that I wanted. The style is slightly different, lacking some of the detail of my first pair but they are the same low heel, sling back shoe I expected, so "GREAT PURCHASE!" This shoe is a perfect size 8 med. I always had problems with pointed toe shoes being too tight on my toes. I have ALWAYS had problems with straps slipping off my heel or shoes that plopped when I walked. There are 5 holes for adjusting the buckle. These were not a problem for me in my troubled areas. I wore without stockings. My bunions did not hurt!!! I purchased Black and Opal. Worth the price although I would have loved it at a sale price. Highly recommend if you want dressy up or down and still look classy without sacrificing your arches or crammed toes. ... show more
