Update 1/15 - Seller requested additional photos and took responsibility. Seller was professional and helpful. A refund was offered withy return. Overall experience with seller was positive. Original Post - Daughter loves the skates but the pair we bought came with a defect. There appears to be the number 30 marked in yellow on the back of the one skate. Nothing will get it off, tried a magic eraser and bought white shoe polish but the number remains. It's soaked into the material. Disappointed the manufacturer let this escape. ... show more

These girls’ ice skates are very cute and have a good overall fit, which made my daughter excited to get them. They’re also comfortable right away and offer decent ankle support, which gave us confidence in the structure and support once they were on. The half-size insert is a really neat feature and helps fine-tune the sizing, which is especially helpful for growing feet. However, they arrived not sharpened, which I didn’t realize I needed to check for beforehand. Because of that, we weren’t able to use them at all this season. It was disappointing, especially since that effectively made them unusable right out of the box. I’m hoping they’ll still fit well enough next year to get some use out of them. On the downside, the tops also don’t seem very durable—after just being transported in the back seat of the car, they’ve already started to scuff and pick up stains more easily than expected. ... show more
