Fit is good and they are so cute. I’m an adult beginner and was recommended to get my own skates over using the rentals and they are definitely better. I didn’t want to pay the big money for the recommended brands so went with these for the price and get compliments on them all the time. People think they are custom made. The blades do need to be sharpened as they are hard to perform a stop in as is. Other than that, awesome pair of skates and I’m glad I took the chance on them.

To be honest, I do not know a whole lot about ice skates and what makes a pair great and what makes a pair not great. These seem pretty nice and if you can get them with the 40% off coupon, go for it. The boots are made of PU leather so I don't think they will hold up as well as leather (in my experience PU falls apart even without a lot of use) but the ankles are very sturdy and supportive. The boot is narrow but it seems to run fairly true to size for length. The blade guard is a little jenky and doesn't seem like it will stay on without the zip tie holding it in place - it might be necessary to get new blade guards. Currently the DD is breaking them in around the house before she attempts to skate on actual ice. The skates did come with a little brochure with helpful information - how to take care of your skates, make sure not to store your worn skates in enclosed spaces because it's cruel, and practice falling because you will fall.

Not durable or stiff. These had permanent creases in the leather after trying on. After an hour of use, they looked and felt quite flimsy. I’d buy these for a couple days of skating, but not months of use. If you buy: SIZE DOWN. Skates need to be tighter than your street shoes! SHARPEN BEFORE USE. Your edges will catch on the ice if you don’t sharpen them. You won’t have control
