I really like this size Nalgene because it’s easier to use with my smaller, women’s hands. I have the big ones also, but always prefer this size because it’s so comfortable to hold and drink out of. And I like the smaller opening because it’s also more comfortable for drinking. I just use them for water, though, any other use might need a specialized bottle brush to clean thoroughly. Nalgenes rock, I love them and love that the loop holding the cap on makes a great way to carry them and that you never have to worry about losing the cap! And that you can fill them with hot water for a foot warmer in cold weather! And the markings on the side are handy for measuring! And they come in lots of really cool colors! ... show more

I've owned Nalgene products for about two decades now, & my original litre-sized/32 oz. is still as good as the day I purchased it. The scratches & wear marks merely add to its character. As their promo description says, they're a relatively simple construction that works extremely well. This smaller 16 oz. is a first for me, & it'll be most convenient to use around the house or to take along on morning walks. The translucent colour is super. Nalgene makes excellent, resilient sleeves for their 32 oz. bottles. Though I was unable to find a Nalgene sleeve for this size bottle, there are some from other sources that are quite nice. There's even a smart woodland camo version that'll compliment the olive drab Nalgene I have. I ordered another as a Christmas present, & I confess it was a last-minute transaction. Even amid the holiday rush, the shipper ensured my order was safely packaged & arrived in record time.
