These boots are very comfortable and stylish! I was so pleased that the fit is exactly true to size, the heel is just right, and the construction was very good, not cheap or flimsy. These boots are lightweight, and soft which is a plus, as some boots are so heavy that they are hard to walk in. They are very easy to get on and off; I have a wide foot and calf, and had no trouble with the fit, but someone with a narrow foot and slim calf might find these a bit too loose. I do not use animal leather, so was very happy to have found such a cute style in a non-leather fabric. Good to note: these are not in any way waterproof, and the upper part is fabric not plastic, so it may absorb water or stains. Also good to note: they are packaged folded in half, and while this does not affect the look when wearing them, it's very hard to get them to stand up for storage. My solution was to insert a cardboard paper towel tube (once the roll is finished) into the boot when they're in the closet so that they stand straight up, and I trimmed the tube to the height of the boot. I highly recommend this boot and am thinking about buying the ankle style as well.

They are probably not real leather but I don’t have an extra $200-300 to plop down for the real deal (entry level!!). I’ve also always been wary of cowboy boots bc it seems like they’d be stiff and pointy and hurt my feet. These are awesome entry level boots for occasional use. I bought them for DJing outdoor weddings in Texas so I look dressy but am still able to trek around in the mulch and grass and gravel and junk with my gear. Ain’t no way I’m wearing heels!! You don’t see male DJs having to put up with that!

Boots were super cute and so good for the price although they can't get wet at all. When the boot gets wet it will create a permanent stain that will not come off
