These were just as comfortable as other reviewers said. Sturdy to walk in, didn't hurt to stand in. They have an elastic bit in the shaft so they do indeed fit those of us with bigger calves and don't feel too tight (always a gamble when it comes to boots). I wear an 8.5 and they fit perfectly.

I was looking for a wide calf and found them! I'm short and stout, so my legs are thick! These are perfect and comfy... a bit too wide because they are slouchy, but that's ok for me; goeswith the outfit.

These boots were nice looking and the fit was comfortable. The heel is sturdy so I felt safe wearing them the calf part of the boot was wide enough because that is my problem finding a boot to stretch over my calf I felt super sexy wearing these boots right here!

Style is very nice! But too big in calf area I have average calfs, not thin and not bigger. I wanted it for dress boots to wear with my skirts, but the width make it kind of slouchy looking. Maybe if you wear leggins with them it would take up the extra room

You can't get a better boot at this price, they a nicely made and have some cushion for your feet. Fit is right on. The only thing is the heel is a little slippery, it has ridges but still slippery I think once they get worn in they won't be as slippery. The ball of the foot is not slippery at all it's just the heel. But all in all j love these boots and will buy in another color.
