The fabric of the gown is thin, but reasonably strong, and well stitched. The cap is pretty basic, but again reasonably well made, and will work for its purpose. These are not made for plus sized individuals though. I wear a size 42 pants, so I'm thick, but not super thick or heavy for my size, and they don't fit me very well. Again, they will work for me, but only just barely, and I will probably have to wear it unzipped. The sizing chart does a great job of showing what height you should be for a given size of these, but it would be really nice if the seller could provide more information about sizing in terms of chest/waist sizes that it will fit properly. As always if I encounter any issues or think of anything else to add I'll update this review!

Although my elementary school does not have a cap and gown ceremony for the 5th graders at the end of the year, we do let them take pictures to celebrate their first steps towards graduation. Before I got this item, we only had one cap and gown to use for pictures. This set made it easy to get all of the students' pictures completed in a short time. I was quite happy with the quality of the product. The gown's fabric felt smooth and crisp, just like the kind I would get for high school or college graduation. Although the fit was a bit big for elementary schoolers, I think that it was suitable for lots of shapes, heights, and sizes. I did not notice any defects with the seams or stitching. The mortar was of good quality as well. I think that this item would be a good value for schools that need a quick option for graduation caps and gowns. They look professional and classy.

This graduation cap and gown set is very nice quality. The fabric has a matte finish that looks sharp in photos and in person, and the stitching feels well done. The fit was as expected for the listed size, and the tassel and cap completed the set nicely. I love that there were four, even though I only needed two, however I am a homeschool parent and can give these to my kids to keep their own. To get the wrinkles out, I simply gave a quick dryer steam and voila they were good to go. The material isn’t too thin or see-through, and it hangs well without looking cheap. For the price, it’s a solid option that works perfectly for a graduation ceremony. Overall, it’s a well-made, reliable set that looks professional and is ready to wear.
