I’m 5’4 (36-32-42) 153 lbs. This dress feels amazing. Upon opening the package, as soon as I touched the dress I was amazed at the quality of the dress. Not thin, light and cheap. A nice substantial weight without feeling heavy at all. The quality makes this a $100 dress for sure. The fit is just as amazing. It is definitely TRUE TO SIZE. I am a solid 36-32-42. I went through reviews and it was hard to tell based on many not leaving their body dimensions with the size they chose. Saw someone with my slight dimensions and her fit looked very nice at a medium but a little too tight. I wanted a form fit without it looking too tight. So I risked just getting a Large based on suggested size chart to fit my waist and hit area if nothing else. . (I’m normally a medium in dresses) I hoped for the best as I slipped it on and smiled the entire time. OMG. It fit like glove. Not too tight where it hugged unflattering areas too much. It was perfect. Fits form without looking like it fits too tight. To achieve this I suggest matching your measurements. The layers on stomach area fell perfectly and everything was still form fitting and flattering. Im still smiling guys. TIP. Iron on LOW SETTING. Will upload pic soon.

I bought this same-sized dress in two colors for my daughter's wedding. One was DEFINITELY smaller than the other; the other also seemed it had been used or tried on and returned because the hemline stitches were popped (as if it was stretched too much) and there were various stains on it. I didnt notice the latter until it was too late to replace/return the item so thats on me. That being said, I wore the untainted dress to my daughter's wedding and not only did I feel comfortable and confident, I received many compliments. The fabric was perfectly stretchy while neither being too heavy nor too light.

This dress really is deserving of all the stellar reviews. It's the perfect all-occasion, figure forgiving, comfortable, yet chic and sexy little black dress that every woman needs in her closet! For reference, I am 5'8," 152 lbs and a 38C bra and I ordered this dress in black, size L. In most shirts I wear size medium and in most jeans I wear a 10L. I have a pretty traditional shape to my frame as far as being balanced proportions in shoulders/waist/hips/etc. However, I do have a bit of a tummy pooch at the moment (what can I say, crunches aren't my favorite pastime). This dress minimizes that waist issue quite beautifully as it's slightly gathered and tailored at the waist, but without being too tight or drawing undo attention to the area (plus you can never go wrong with figure flattering black). I ordered this dress in medium initially and while it technically did fit, it was a tad more snug than I liked, so I reordered it in large and that was absolutely perfect! The large still clung to my figure, but gave a little more breathing room and was not too big or loose by any means. I love the length of this dress because at my height (5'8") often skirts and dresses don't go past my knees and this one does. I'm a little self conscious about my knees as my legs aren't in peak condition right now, so this dress covers them perfectly without being too long or cutting my frame in a visually awkward way. The fabric is nice and stretchy, but not thin or at all see-thru (in fact it feels quite high quality and sturdy, yet not overly thick/hot), so it is more forgiving on the figure, offers a little shaping support, and doesn't show every little flaw or "jiggle." Although I'd still recommend wearing some shape-wear underneath if you have a few imperfections you'd like to minimize. On a side note, I tried wearing this with both a nude and a black sexy ankle strap heel and personally I think it looks sharpest with the black heels, but of course that's up to personal taste... just throwing it out there if you're shopping for a pair of shoes to go with it. :) All in all I could not be happier with this purchase, let alone the great price! Fantastic dress!

I saw this dress on a Buzzfeed list and was blown away by all the positive reviews so when I needed a dress for our anniversary dinner, I went to my Wish List and bought it. Best decision I could have made! It arrived quicker than expected. The dress is a beautiful color and is made of a thick fabric with just the right amount of stretch. It held me together but was not constricting after our lovely steak dinner. The dress is not see-through [at least not in the merlot color] as I wore black undergarments and they were not visible at all. I did have to steam it twice to get the wrinkles out but it was otherwise absolutely perfect! [Note: Flipped bottom hem was a fluke I missed before taking the pic. It laid normal once I flipped it back down.] This dress wowed my hubby and I expect it to wow at future events to come. I am considering buying in a few more colors as the need arises. If you are on the fence, BUY IT as it is worth every penny and more at this price point! I am 4'11", 135lbs, 32DD, with a short torso and I purchased a small. It was a bit longer than I expected, going down past my knee [because I'm fun-sized], but a simple trip to the seamstress will take care of that although the dress really is stunning just the way it is so I may leave it.
