I originally had bought this as a slim pocket solution for proposing to my wife. It's slim-mer design made it practical to keep the ring in my front pocket until the time was right. It's lightweight, and the lid attached solidly with small jewelry hinge. I was afraid my ring wouldn't fit but I was surprised of how much space the box provided for any style ring. I used this box to propose recently, the box secures the ring properly and the magnet is more than strong enough but not too strong. I put this in my carry on bag onto the plane and had no issues traveling with it. As a plus she loved the extra touch! Well first off, this box is gorgeous! Just beautiful in person, and the sparkly ring you put in absolutely pops off the darker background. I loved that it was small enough to keep in my pocket without being noticed. My only issue with it is the hinge. It is a very cheap, flimsy hinge that does not hold up for long. However as long as you’re gentle with it, it should hold up long enough to pop the question. I carried it around for two weeks without opening it, and my now fiancée! broke it as soon as she touched it. Again, a beautiful little box though! ... show more
