I ordered these after receiving 3000+ results on an Amazon search for terry cloth baby wash cloths. The purpose was for drying delicate skin. There was even a question about absorbency on the QandA where the answer was yes, these were absorbent. They are not. I washed them straight out of the plastic bag they came in so can’t return them but I’ve no idea what to do with them. They are quilted layers of muslin. I’ve no idea if they would last as washcloths but they are very soft. Maybe I’ll use them as stocking stuffers for make up removal…. On a side note I’d like to add a short review of Amazon search engine: it used to be one of the better store search engines but now the results flood with results that were not searched for. It’s overwhelming to sort and filter and still have hundreds of results that do not match the query. Two stars for Amazon search engine. I do like the material and how soft it is. I haven’t had a chance to truly test how absorbent these cloths are. I would not recommend them because they’re not super durable. I washed the whole pack before I used them and one cloth was completely shredded once I took it out the dryer. However, they ring out nearly dry, and could serve as sanitary napkins (pads) while hiking or camping if the need arises; these cloths are that soft! Really excellent product ; just not for me. Love the size....but I hate that these are paper thin...not much of a bath cloth...would not recommend for a baby's skin..not even an adult....they need to but a little thicker....I always try on my skin before my baby's skin...and they are rough too my skin

I’m keeping these to use as hand towels because they are softer than terry cloth, and dry faster. However, these would be too harsh on delicate skin. It’s like layers of cheese cloth sewn to make pockets of plushy squares.
