I slipped into the Muslim Abaya Dress for Women Long Sleeve Belted Maxi Modest Kaftan and immediately felt like I had my life together—even if I absolutely did not five minutes earlier. The material is exactly what you hope an abaya will be: smooth, slightly slippery, and flows beautifully when you walk. It moves with you instead of clinging, which makes it feel both elegant and comfortable. Very classic abaya vibes, in the best way. Fit-wise, I’m 5’6” and around 135 lbs and ordered a Large. Normally I wear medium but I appreciate a loose fit overall, which this one is. However, it can be just a touch fitted around the chest. Personally, I like a very relaxed, floaty fit, especially for masjid wear, so if you’re like me and want maximum modesty and airflow, sizing up might be perfect. Length-wise, you already know the deal 😂 It’s long on me and brushes the floor, but that’s not a flaw—it’s the style. A quick tailoring tweak if you want it just a tad shorter and it would be perfect. But with shoes on the length fits fine anyways. I’m planning to wear this during Ramadan, for the masjid, and honestly anytime I want to look put-together without trying too hard. It’s modest, elegant, comfortable, and feels far more expensive than it is. If you want an abaya that makes you feel graceful the second you put it on, this one delivers. Would absolutely buy again in another color.

Oh, fessing up here:). 1 I am NOT a woman; 2. I am NOT a Muslim 3. I AM a man from the US West; 4. I appreciate the elegant simplicity inherent in this dress. 5. I'm intending to gift it to a female friend whom I suspect will enjoy wearing it. (to be updated:) First off, the fabric seems of medium weight, smooth, not satiny, but almost like linen. It's feel is comforting to the touch and It hangs naturally, leaving only a suggestion of the figure beneath; which apparently can either be accented or subdued by the adjustment of the included belt. I requested the dark grey because that color compliments the color of her eyes as well as reflecting her maturity.:). It will be awhile before I can gift it to her, but I'm looking forward to seeing both her response as well as my response to seeing her in it:) The quality of the stitching is first rate, the seams are uniform and precise. It's an excellent yet simple dress. 5 Stars from this old man:) It's an easy "RECOMMENDED" from me.

I absolutely love how I feel in this! The material feels like a classic abaya material, slippery and moves with you in a nice way. I’m 165 and 5’3”. I got the size large. It is loose but the tiniest bit fitted just around my chest, and I prefer an even looser fit, so if that’s you I would go for the extra large probably. I probably won’t use the belt as again I prefer a looser fit (especially since I’m planning on using this for the masjid in Ramadan). Of course, as always at 5’3”, it’s too long on me. It’s just long enough to where it’s a bit inconvenient to walk in, so I plan on trying to get it tailored somehow so it can be a better fit and not drag on the floor. But as a short person lol I’m used to that and it’s not the company’s fault at all. Overall very happy with this!

I really like this dress. Admittedly, it kind of feels like I'm a nun or something, but it is so easy to wear, so comfortable. While it is winter, now, it feels like it would be quite comfortable in warmer seasons. It's not tight, but not too loose. I don't feel constricted and the fabric itself feels very nice. It's kind of cooling and soft and light and smoothe. The only thing that will limit warm season wear is the color, since dark colors absorb heat. Overall, very comfortable to wear.
