My collie mix runs around our above ground pool while the kids play, and rips up her pads from the brick patio on one side. We’ve kept her inside for several days (and haven’t let her run around while the kids swim) to let time do most of healing - but it was clear that we needed a little more help, as her paws were very sore. I put some of this balm on her feet and noticed an immediate improvement in her demeanor. She had almost instance relief from her discomfort. It was noticeable to all in our family. We’ll continue to encourage her to rest, and apply this balm each day till her pads look much better.     • Nothing compares!!!
My dogs nose was so cracked and dry it resembled something gnarled growing in the forest. I have used other 4+ star products with tens of thousands more reviews that didn’t even come close to this one. It was noticeably better in one day. In two days, only two small spots were still cracked and dry. And within three days, her snout was back to it’s old, wet glory. My expectations were low since I had not had any luck with all the other products I’ve used, so when I got the wonderful results I did, I was completely amazed! 100/10 would recommend! ... show more

    • FANTASTIC!!!!!
I'm really not sure how much protection on the pads it offers, but after only 3 uses my dogs pads are super soft! Living in the desert, her paws were dry and sometimes cracked.....but those days are gone. I found the easiest way to apply is to tap the foot in the container, then just spread it to make sure it covers the sides. Will definitely buy again....and again...and again! ... show more

We got this for our puppy when we noticed the bottoms of his paw pads were cracking to try and help them heal. We haven’t seen a significant improvement yet, but it definitely seems to moisture his paws in the short term. Another challenge is that it’s near impossible to prevent him from licking his paws and/or walking around before it’s had a good chance to soak in, but we’re working on a solve for that (probably socks, but then he’ll probably just try to chew them off). I overall think this is better than nothing, and a little bit really does go a long way so you get some bang for your buck. ... show more

I purchased to rub on my doodles paws and between toes. Given that doodle paws are like swiftest - picking up all dirt and sand, frequent rinsing them is needed. This caused dryness and caused dog to nibble and caused hot spot on toes. Using this after rinsing has stopped nibbling and hot spot resolved ... show more

This really works. It moisturizes the paw pads when regularly used. There is no smell and it's never left a stain on anything in the house. Most importantly, it has never increased my dogs desire to lick their paws. A must have for your fur babies if they spend time outside and on walks.

My dog had really tough paw pads and they were always ripped because he plays really hard at the dog park. But once I started using this product on his paws, I noticed a huge difference just on the second day of use. I will continue using this product on my dog. I’m also confident that it’s not hurting his stomach. If ever, he licks his paws and it’s good to know that this is nontoxic. ... show more

    • Worked until…
I was putting this balm on my dogs pads every night to help get their natural “puff” back. Her pads were so dry and flat she was slipping very badly on our new floors. We then took her for a long walk in our neighborhood (w/regular black top) and both front pads were torn and bleeding. We couldn’t get them to heal, so we took her to a vet and they guessed that the balm MAY have made her paws too soft and made them weak. We thankfully have them healed, but she’s back to slipping around on the floors. Vet said they only thing they recommend for slipping is rugs (which sucks!) ... show more
